Artistic Director

Completing an MA in Applied Theatre at Royal Central and furthering studies at the Shakespeare Institute in Stratford-Upon-Avon, Adam has directed over two hundred plays and musicals. He is also  a writer and co-writer of Book & Lyrics for Plays & Musicals that have been performed in London, Paris, Los Angeles and New York. 

Rehearsal Techniques

Ewa is a Nigerian-born, Sheffield raised and now London-based human who trained as an actor at Rose Bruford. Since graduating, she has gone on to work as an actor, director, facilitator & poet. Music and movement are integral parts of Ewa’s process. Ewa wants to create and be part of stories that help us to expand our empathy and humanity. She likes to lead rooms with compassion and flexibility to reflect this. As a facilitator, Ewa has worked for Company Three, The Institute of Contemporary Theatre and the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, amongst others.

Creative Theatre

Nigel is a theatre maker and practitioner working predominantly in devised work, street theatre and interactive theatrical entertainment at festivals around the UK. As well as teaching at Bodens he regularly teaches and directs for East 15 and Central School of Speech and Drama, and has just begun an MA in Dramaturgy at Birkbeck.

Voice

Aisling studied vocal technique with the Royal Irish Academy of Music for several years before receiving her BFA Musical Theatre from the American College Dublin. She now works as a singing teacher and LAMDA tutor across London. 

Screen Acting

Acting Techniques

Kyle trained at ArtsEd where he graduated from the BA acting course in 2017. He is the co- founder of Just Add Milk Theatre Company. Since graduating Kyle has worked across TV, film, Stage and Radio with directors such as Louis Letterier, Matthew Dunster and Roland Emmerich. Kyle has worked  as a visiting practitioner at institutes such as The Manchester School Of Theatre and ArtsEd teaching from primary right through to degree level acting as well as running Drama School audition classes at colleges nationwide.

Creative Theatre

Nicole Acquah is a multidisciplinary storyteller, who works across mediums as a performer, writer and educator.  She studied Drama and Creative Writing at Royal Holloway and went on to study at the MA Advanced Theatre Practice at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. She has worked successfully with various arts organisations as a freelance theatre-maker. She also runs theatre company Acquah&co, focusing upon championing and celebrating diverse British voices. Nicole is a visiting lecturer and module facilitator at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. 

Screen Acting

Having begun his training with a full scholarship at the Royal Ballet School, Daniel has featured on the West End stage in Aladdin and Pretty Woman, before successfully moving into film and television roles. Now teaching Screen Acting at Bodens College, Daniel shares his knowledge of successful casting and filming.

Ensemble Training

Nathalie has worked as an actor for more than 25 years in France, her native country, where she trained with the Stanislavsky method, Antonin Artaud, and Jacques Coppeau heritage, as well as with physical approaches such as the Mask, and Clowning with Lecoq’s techniques.

Acting for Camera Technique

Since graduating from the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, Adam has apppeared in over 30 screen productions and in hit stage shows such as Small Island at the National Theatre.

Dance Performance

& Movement 

Katie has been working at Bodens for 20 years. Originally employed as a teaching assistant, while continuing her professional development in dance with the ISTD and RAD, she became a key member of the dance faculty, heading the department from 2012.  She has  prepared students for examinations, choreographed numerous shows, and worked as an assessor, and internal verifier. Now  a senior partner, Katie is responsible for operations management, including quality assurance, course structure and student experience.

Ballet & Modern Dance

Musical Director

Luke is a freelance musician working on London’s top shows including Les Miserables & Miss Saigon as well as Musical Director for Bodens College of Performing Arts. Luke trained at the Guildford School of Acting gaining a 1st Class Honours Degree in Theatre and previously taught at Laine Theatre Theatre Arts in Epsom. 

Contemporary Dance

Damian trained at London Contemporary Dance School for a degree in Contemporary Dance and Choreography. He gained a Postgraduate Diploma in Performance as part of the 4D-dance Company and has worked extensively as a professional dancer and teacher throughout the UK, Ireland and Europe. He has devised dance degree courses and modules, that have been accredited by Chester University, Middlesex University and the University of Wales.

Classical Singing

Alex is a dramatic mezzo soprano. She completed her studies at Trinity Laban Conservatoire, Greenwich, London. 

Commercial Dance

Simone is an award winning educator and has been teaching music, dance and body percussion for over 20 years. She has travelled the world and performed in the West End in the percussion show STOMP.  Simone is the founder of The Positive Bean company and focuses on inclusion and mental awareness to all.
